Juliet would sitll have to have had taken the same drastic action if she did communicate with her parents. Juliet ended up killing herself because she was being forced to marry Paris and also Romeo got banished. In the play Juliet did not communicate with her parents and she ended up killing herself because of that. Even if Juliet did communicate with her parents the same story line would possibly occur as her father threatened to disown her if she did not marry Paris. Act 3, scence 5 line 151-156 "And yet 'not proud' mistress minior you? Thank me no thankings, nor proud me no prouds, But fettle your fine joints 'gainst Thursday next, to go with Paris to Saint Peters Church, or i will drag thee on a hurdle thither. out, you green-sickness carrion! out, you baggage!" As Juliet has enourmouse respect for her parents and has never been out of her dad's care and money, it frightened her to see her dad call her a spoilt brat and threaten to disown her so if Juliet had communicated with her parent's the outcome could have been posibly worse as the Capulets and Montague are sworn enemys.

It is 2010 and a girl in her late teens has started dating a guy that she believes is her true love. Unfortunately, her parents, family and friends don't approve of him and are trying to force her to dump him. Her parents have even gone so far as to say that they will disown her if she doesn't cut all contact with this guy. In her diary she writes down her feelings about the whole situation. Another day that is finally over, another day of fights and threats to get my new boyfriend John out of my life. I dont understand why they want him out of my life! Their is hardly any age difference, everyone these days has boyfriends that are 4-5 years older, its just normal. Maybe its because they think he's scum just because he isnt rich like us or maybe its because im 15 and he's 19. They want him out of my life because he isnt rich and they think i should date the prince or the duke or something. I dont listen to them, they dont understand me. Im 16 and im in love with John and he is in love with me. I tell my mum in hope she will listen to me and understand, she just doesnt understand. We scream and fight about it all the time, even my dad fights with me. They threaten to disown me if they find out i have bee sneaking around to see him and he sneaks around to see me. He climbs through my window at night, we sneak out to parks in the middle of the night, we walk to school in the morning and have never been caught. If i did get caught, i dread to think what would happen to me or John. :( I just want them to see how good we are together, and how happy we are together and then maybe, just maybe they will accept him as he is.
