Benvolio is concerned about Romeo in when he is sad about Rosaline, so he is portayed as being caring. He also wants to make peace with Tybalt as he is a Capulet which shows he is very calm and wants every one to get along.

Tybalt thinks Benvolio as an idiot, as he stopped the fight between the Montagues and the Capulets

Benvolio is the nephew of Lord Montague and Lady Montague, and the cousin of Romeo, friend of Mercutios and his enemy Tybalt.

He wants to help Romeo get over Rosaline by finding him another girl at the ball, and he is trying to make peace with Tybalt by not fighting.
